S. Watts Group kicked off April by breaking ground on two new Central Texas commercial construction projects. Throughout the upcoming months, our team will share the progress of these projects and any new jobs we start.

Cassava Sciences
Cassava Sciences is a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company focused on neuroscience. The company currently focuses on researching and developing first-in-class medicines for people with debilitating neurodegenerative conditions such as Alzheimer’s disease.
Our team at S. Watts Group is performing an interior remodel for Cassava Sciences’ location northeast of Austin and the Capital of Texas Highway. The scope includes an entire floor remodel of the 21,500 SF space.
TSTC
Located in the heart of Downtown Austin, S. Watts Group will break ground on a First Generation Interior Buildout for TSTC. The 2,000 SF project is located on Lavaca Street at the SXSW Center. Project plans begin with a concrete leave out, meaning the space is currently a mud slab that our team will complete our underground plumbing and electrical work before pouring back concrete to complete the foundation. In addition, we will be installing a Teknion wall system which is not typically used. This design element features modern, flexible glass-fronted office spaces.
“S. Watts will be working with EPIC PM Group as the construction manager, and Cushman & Wakefield as the building owner/property management team. We have a long outstanding relationship with both and are excited to continue collaboration when building our community.” – Brent Ellerbee
