This summer our team at S. Watts Group is breaking ground on several exciting new projects stretching from San Marcos to Dallas, Texas. As we continue to build, our communities get the first look at the new commercial construction in Central Texas.
Coast Cycle Studio
Coast Cycle Studio will be a brand new cycle studio coming to Dallas later this fall. Our team will complete a 2,700 sq. ft. interior remodel of the studio space located near Turtle Creek Park.
Coast Cycle Studio offers high-intensity, full-body workouts on an indoor cycling bike. This studio is known for its “Blue Room.” The studio will give members a unique workout experience.
Norwood Tower
Closer to home, our team is beginning a few new commercial construction projects in Austin, including the 12th floor and the entrance of the Norwood Tower.
Norwood Tower is a historic Austin building constructed in 1929. Our team will be completing an interior remodel of the first floor.
This remodel will include:
- A new mezzanine built from steel beams and metal decking
- New exterior windows, and doors
- Updated restrooms
In addition to the entryway remodel, our team will be completing a renovation of the 12th floor. As a historic building, this remodel will include the polishing of the existing and uniquely designed Terrazzo floor to continue to honor the historical aspects of the building.

Opportunity Plaza
Our team in San Marcos begins moving dirt at the new master-planned project called Opportunity Plaza. This project represents a unique opportunity in the growing Greater San Marcos/Hays County areas. Opportunity Plaza boasts affordability, efficient/attractive finishes, and outstanding access to Austin, San Marcos, San Antonio, and all the municipalities along the IH-35 corridor.
