S. Watts Group 2025 Year in Review: A Year Built on Trust & Teamwork
As 2025 comes to a close, we’re taking a moment to reflect on a year that brought exciting growth, meaningful connections, and steady progress across Central Texas. From the early planning stages to final walkthroughs, our projects, people, and partnerships have made this a year to remember.
In our 10th year as a company, we stayed true to what got us here: honoring our word, showing up for each other, and delivering quality work that speaks for itself. With an incredible team, trusted industry partners, and new projects on the horizon, we’re proud of the foundation we’ve built and energized by what lies ahead.
Team & Culture Moments
This year gave us plenty of moments that reminded us just how exceptional this team is.
10-Year Anniversary
This year marked a major milestone for our team, 10 years of S. Watts Group. A decade of building relationships, delivering on our word, and bringing purposeful commercial spaces to life. From our first projects to today’s multimillion-dollar builds, we’ve stayed grounded in the values that matter most: integrity, collaboration, and trust.
RECA Fight Night
We had a knockout time at RECA’s Fight Night at the beginning of the year, connecting with peers in the real estate and construction industry while supporting Austin’s vibrant business community. Big thanks to the Real Estate Council of Austin for hosting one of the year’s most exciting events!
Crawfish Boil 2025
Good food, great people, and Central Texas sunshine made this year’s annual S. Watts Group Crawfish Boil one for the books. A huge thank you to our partners, vendors, and friends who came out to celebrate with us. We’re grateful for this community that continues to grow stronger each year.
Round Rock Express Team Night
We traded hard hats for ball caps at a Round Rock Express game, spending a relaxed summer evening at the ballpark together. These moments remind us that while the job is serious, the people make it meaningful.

S. Watts Group Commercial Construction Internship Program
We welcomed two incredible new interns, Zachary Britton and Jared Lofland, who jumped right into the work reviewing RFIs, coordinating with subcontractors, walking job sites, and learning what it means to build the S. Watts Group way. Their curiosity, energy, and effort were a highlight of our year. They brought energy, curiosity, and drive to every project. Read more about their internship experience with S. Watts Group.
In Office Connections
Our team gatherings helped us stay aligned, informed, and grounded in our shared mission. We celebrated wins, talked through challenges, and set priorities together — because communication is at the center of everything we build.
Community & Industry Engagement
This year took us everywhere — chili cookoffs, Topgolf industry nights, happy hours, mixers, paint nights, and more. Whether judging at the ABC Chili Cookoff, connecting with architecture and engineering partners, or meeting students at university career fairs, we were reminded again and again: relationships are the real foundation of every project.
Project Highlights
This year’s portfolio featured diverse builds across Central Texas, each one shaped by collaboration, craftsmanship, and a shared vision. We delivered on a wide range of commercial developments, from tenant improvements to ground-up development.
Ground-Up Construction
2025 was a year of strong foundations. Our ground-up portfolio expanded across Central Texas, featuring a 19,000-square-foot Ace Hardware in San Antonio and continued major progress on the Texas Regional Bank campus in Bulverde, including both the bank facility and an adjacent 40,000-square-foot retail building. In Spicewood, we launched three ground-up projects at Travis Club: the Gatehouse, a Golf Maintenance Shop, and a Golf Maintenance Storage Building, each tailored to the development’s upscale Hill Country identity. We also wrapped construction on the Golf Academy at Horseshoe Bay Resort, combining new technology and player-centric features in a premium training facility. These projects reflect the trust our partners place in us to bring new buildings — and entire experiences — to life from the ground up.
Tenant Improvement
Tenant improvement work remained a cornerstone of our business this year. In Austin, we transformed spaces for a diverse range of clients, including VLK Architects’ 5,000-square-foot expansion (our fourth project with them), JMT Engineering’s 3,700-square-foot interior remodel, and Black & Veatch’s 8,000-square-foot office overhaul. We completed a high-end finish-out for Tito’s Handmade Vodka’s 12,350-square-foot office featuring custom millwork and premium materials. Other tenant improvement highlights included the City View Center Suite 310 buildout, Germer’s full-floor remodel at Barton Oaks, and the continued transformation of interior spaces at the Horseshoe Bay Resort Yacht Club. Each project balanced design intent with precision execution, creating environments that reflect our clients’ brands.
Healthcare
Healthcare work continued to be a critical part of our portfolio. At Baylor Scott & White Hillcrest MOB in Waco, we led a renovation that prioritized both functionality and patient experience. This project featured updates to exam rooms, hallways, and patient entryways, along with improvements to the glass receiving area. By modernizing healthcare spaces, we’re helping our partners deliver better care — one thoughtful detail at a time.
Retrofit & Remodeling
When spaces need to evolve with new demands, we’re ready to help. At Haven for Hope in San Antonio, we returned for another meaningful project. This time, upgrading the under-slab drainage infrastructure by constructing a sump pit and pump system. This followed our earlier 5,750-square-foot interior remodel of their intake and admin spaces. We’re honored to support growing teams and changing tenant needs.
Looking Ahead
From 10-year milestones to first-time builds, 2025 reminded us of one thing: progress takes a village. We’re proud of what we’ve accomplished, grateful for the people who made it possible, and energized for what’s next.
If your 2026 includes a commercial construction project, we’d love to connect. Build with a partner you can trust.
