BigCommerce, an cloud e-commerce giant, contracted S. Watts Group to complete their tenant improvement project for their Austin headquarters expansion. To kick off the demolition of the new space, S. Watts Group worked with Jason Schultz, Director of Global Real Estate & Facilities for BigCommerce, to come up with a unique way to involve employees in the construction process. Together, we planned their All-Hands Meeting to coincide with the first day of demo. S. Watts Group provided hardhats, custom sledgehammers, safety goggles and safety gloves and prepped the wall for demo. Each employee was able to let out some stress and help knock down a wall that leads into their future space! The project is scheduled to be completed Summer 2019.
