Supporting Healthcare Construction Across Waco
Healthcare continues to be one of the fastest-growing sectors in Central Texas, and Waco is no exception. These projects require a high level of planning and coordination, especially when construction takes place in active medical environments where patient care remains the top priority.
Over the past year, S. Watts Group has partnered with Ascension Providence on a wide range of projects throughout its Waco campus. While each project serves a different purpose, together they represent a shared commitment to improving patient care, modernizing facilities, and supporting hospital staff with spaces designed to meet evolving healthcare needs.
Our work has included imaging suite renovations to accommodate new CT, X-ray, nuclear medicine, and cath lab equipment, as well as upgrades to women’s health, rehabilitation, and breast health spaces. We’ve also completed infrastructure improvements such as the installation of a new rooftop helipad ramp to improve patient transport, along with renovations to support surgical sterilization equipment, medical gas systems, and other critical hospital functions.
Beyond the hospital campus, we’re also completing a first-generation buildout for a new Ascension Providence children’s Woodway Clinic, transforming an existing shell space into a welcoming healthcare environment that will expand access to care for families throughout the region.
Although these projects vary in size and scope, they all require the same level of attention to detail, collaboration, and adaptability. It’s a responsibility we take seriously, and one we’re proud to continue alongside the Ascension Providence team.
