S. Watts Group is beginning 2023 with a bang! Our Central Texas contractor teams are hard at work on some amazing new commercial construction projects. Our Austin-based team is leading the charge as they break ground on several tenant interiors all around the area. Meanwhile, our San Marcos team is working on several exciting projects, including a new project in San Antonio, TX. As these exciting projects progress, the community will get to experience all the benefits of this new commercial construction in Central Texas firsthand for years to come. Our Latest New Commercial Construction Projects
Sitepro Rentals
Location: San Antonio, TX
S. Watts Group is excited to announce a new commercial construction project located in San Antonio, Texas. This project consists of a 16,040 sq. ft. interior remodel of an existing structure where Sitepro Rentals will install a new building façade with structural steel, and updated interior finishes.
Vericast
Location: Austin, TX
Vericast is an exciting new commercial construction project located off Burnet Rd in Austin, TX. This 8,213-square-foot office renovation includes a unique wood slat ceiling that we are sure will turn heads. Renovation plans for Vericast feature modern amenities and all the trappings of a brand-new commercial space, bringing fresh life and business energy to this location in North Austin.
823 Congress
Location: Austin, TX
Renovations of 823 Congress Ave. include two projects: 10th-floor lobby renovations and Suite 200 tenant interior. At Suite 200, our team is completing a 5,186 sq. ft. renovation and asbestos abatement. The same asbestos removal and treatment processes will occur on the 10th floor in addition to a 2,100 sq. ft. remodel focusing on the lobby and restroom areas. Lastly, plans to implement a modern sprinkler system are underway.
More Project Updates
Opportunity Plaza
The walls are up at Opportunity Plaza in San Marcos! This three-story building will feature stone siding, ceiling-to-floor window details, and a mezzanine entry. In November, the S. Watts Crew installed windows, roofing, and flooring foundation ahead of the concrete pours that happened in December 2022.
The next steps for this master-planned commercial campus include installing insulation, drywall, and utility infrastructure. To see the latest, follow us on Instagram.
