Saluting Our Veterans

S Watts Group extends the deepest gratitude and thanks to all the service members of the U.S. Armed Forces. This Veteran's Day, our team wants to honor all the nation's service members, from our combat veterans to our medics. S Watts Group extends the deepest gratitude and thanks to all the service members of the U.S. Armed Forces. This Veteran’s Day, our team wants to honor all the nation’s service members, from our combat veterans to our medics. We also send our thanks to the civilian contractors that worked alongside our veterans and the families of our military members.

We want to take the time to salute the members of our team who have served.

Shane Lindsay is a veteran of both Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom, happening during the 2003 invasion of Iraq and war in Afghanistan. Shane joined U.S. Army as an Engineer, then served ten years in the Texas Army National Guard.

Lambert Arocha served in the United States Air Force as a member of a Communications Squadron from 1998 to 2002.

S. Watts Group invites you to remember all our veterans and thank them for their service. We also share a poem, “A Nation’s Strength” written by Ralph Waldo Emerson, giving recognition to our nation’s heroes:

Excerpt from A Nation’s Strength
by William Ralph Emerson

What makes a nation’s pillars high
And its foundations strong?
What makes it mighty to defy
The foes that round it throng?

Not gold but only men can make
A people great and strong;
Men who for truth and honor’s sake
Stand fast and suffer long.

Brave men who work while others sleep,
Who dare while others fly…
They build a nation’s pillars deep
And lift them to the sky.
